Bulgaria is well known for the big trophies. May be the strongest tusks and some of the finest wild boar trophies in Europe are shot here in the country. The hunt around full moon especially in winter time when the landscape is covered with snow is a great experience. On individual hunt for wild boar are used the methods of stalking and from a high seat.
May be it is not that modern to go hunting for wild boars, but still it is one of the ”locomotives” in European hunt. Wild boar can be hunted all over Bulgaria , throughout the year and in combination with all other game.

Driven hunt
Driven hunts are organized for a party of 6-12 hunters in the period from 1.10. to 31. 12.
Only wild boars, foxes, wild cat, wolf and jackal can be shot during the drives – no females and no calves/fawns. The statistic shows that more big wild boars are taken in Bulgaria during the driven hunts than in countries with comparable hunt. The drives – usually 3 a day - are executed by a varying number of beaters with dogs. The expectations are different from district to district, but about 1 wild boar per hunter per day is not far away from reality – of course when the hunters are good shooters, in good condition and the weather is good. A driven hunt can be combined with days with individual hunt in the same district or in neighboring districts. Please note the attractive prices for wild boars shot during driven hunts.

The hunters will not pay for missed shots, wounded and not found animal. |
In case, during one hunting day there is no single shot the party will not pay for the organization of the hunt. |
